Only six more days to see my solo show at Moody Gallery! Thanks to everyone at the gallery for helping put on a lovely show and opening.

I’m looking forward to the opening of Field Notes at Moody Gallery later this month. In advance, read about the show in this critics pick from art ltd. magazine. Many thanks to Nancy Zastudil for the complimentary write-up.

I am looking forward to my second solo show at Moody Gallery this fall. Visit their website for show information, or preview some of the work in the most recent portfolio section, Field Notes.

Thank you to everyone who came to my show opening at The MAC on November 9th! I’m really happy with how the space turned out. If you’re in the Dallas area, you can see the show through December 21st.

Next Saturday, November 9th, I have a show opening at McKinney Avenue Contemporary (The MAC) in Dallas. They graciously welcomed me here for two weeks to complete two large wall drawings in the gallery, which will be shown in conjunction with about a dozen other works on paper. Click here for more info.

Also, the New American Paintings #108 is out. I am happy to be featured in it, along with some other talented Texans.

Shortly I’ll be headed off to Soaring Gardens Artist Retreat in Laceyville, PA for a five-week residency. This will be a great time to polish everything up for my upcoming solo show at the McKinney Avenue Contemporary.

In other news, my work will be included in the #108 issue of New American Paintings. Link will be posted when available.

If you’re in Houston between July 10th and August 9th, consider swinging by the Williams Tower Gallery (view location information here) to view the group show Mighty Line. The reception is on Wednesday, July 17th. Click here to view the show announcement.

Thanks to everyone who came out for WEST. I had a great time talking with a wide variety of interesting, thoughtful visitors. I was also delighted to be mentioned in this interesting article about WEST.

Thanks to everyone who came out to Break it Down last month; I was happy to have been involved in such a lovely little show with such talented people.

My work will be on view in a couple different places in the upcoming weeks and months. First, my work can be found at the Moody Gallery booth at the Dallas Art Fair in April. I’m also happy to announce that I will be opening my studio for the second annual West Austin Studio Tour for two weekends in late April and early May. The talented Cecelia Phillips-Evans will be showing at the same location.

Finally, I’ll be at the Hunting Prize gala again this year on May 4th.

Several months have quickly come and gone, and the two-person drawing show at amoa-arthouse closes this weekend. If you haven’t seen shapeshifting, it will be on view through Sunday, February 17th.

In other news, art night austin is upon us again, and a selection of my works will be on view in a temporary space curated by Sonia Dutton in downtown Austin. The group show will be viewable Wednesday through Sunday this week, 11am-6pm; the space is easy to find at the corner of San Antonio and Cesar Chavez. And of course, the show will be on view for Art Night Austin on Saturday, February 23rd.
